andyAndy Bewley | Producer

Andy Bewley trained in musical theatre at the Oxford School of Drama and graduated from the University of York in 2015. He is the Associate Director of London-based theatre company The Hardy, and has his own production company, Victor Harvey Productions. He was former Chair and Associate Producer of Songs for A New World and The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee for CHMS York in 2015; as well as the founder of the Inter-University Musical Theatre Festival. Andy also directed an award-winning production of Jesus Christ Superstar (Lloyd-Webber, Rice) in 2014. Other work at University include roles as producer of You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Lippa), Con/trast (McGregor) and as director of Immaculate (Lansley) all three of which earned him National Student Drama Festival Recommendations. Alongside work with new-writing company The Hardy which is presenting a half dozen shows this year;  Andy is also managing a new Shakespeare Festival at Catford Broadway, under West End Director Alexandra Spencer-Jones, and can also be seen as Henrik in Questor’s Theatre Production of A Little Night Music in late April. | @alritepal

Having recently graduated from the University of York, Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong is currently based in the Development Department at the National Theatre. Cassiopeia produced The Witches of Eastwick for CHMS York and has worked on a number of original musicals, notably Wonderland by Olly Wood and Evolve by Simone Ibbett-Brown. In addition to Unheard Of: An Evening of New Musical Theatre Writing at The Union Theatre on 28th March 2016, upcoming engagements as a producer include Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia for York-based Aspect Opera in April of this year. As a director, Cassiopeia has worked on showcase sequences from musicals including We Will Rock You, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and The Phantom of the Opera. She made her operatic debut as director of UoY Opera Society’s production of The Magic Flute in May 2015; and is currently Assistant Director for Harrow Opera’s Albert Herring with performances 9-13 March 2016. Cassiopeia studies singing under the tutelage of Susan Young and Barbara van Praag, previous performance credits include Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Emmie (Albert Herring). She is looking forward to joining the Musical Theatre Company at the Royal Academy of Music in September. | @CassiopeiaBA

Ryan Durkan is a third year Music student at the University of York. He has worked as Musical Director on productions of Les Misérables: School Edition and West Side Story with Stagedoor Academy Goole; RENT, The Threepenny Opera and The Last Five Years at the University of York; and Wonderland – A New Musical which premiered at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe. Ryan was Assistant Musical Director for York Orchard Theatre’s acclaimed production of The Phantom of the Opera this February, playing Keyboard 1 during the performances. Ryan has also worked as Production Manager for UoY Opera Society’s Cendrillon, The Magic Flute and CHMS York’s The Witches of Eastwick. An accomplished instrumentalist, Ryan accompanies soloists and auditions at the University has played piano for productions including 42nd Street, The Witches of Eastwick, CATS, Sunset Boulevard, Jekyll and Hyde and The Wizard of Oz. Upcoming engagements include Ordinary Days with CHMS York and RENT with York Orchard Theatre. | @RyanDurkan
